Asean Make BOD incubator is the most versatile and reliable low temperature incubator which is designed to maintain a constant temperature, necessary for Biological Oxygen Demand/Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) determination.

Asean Make BOD incubators provide controlled temperature conditions for accelerated tests and are used to maintain temperature for test tissue culture growth, storage of bacterial cultures and incubation where high degree of constant temperature accuracy is required.

Construction: Double walled: Outer wall of Mild steel powder coated and inner chamber of Stainless steel 304.

CONTROL PANEL: Control panel fitted bottom side of the incubator with the following electrical accessories:

  1. Digital Temperature Indicator cum Controller
  2. ON/OFF Switch with Indicating Lamp
  3. Heater (On/Off) Indicating Lamp.
  4. Compressor (On/Off) Indicating Lamp.
  5. White Light (ON/Off) Switch

Temperature Range:  +5°C up to 60°C. (On Request Less than +5°C Available)

Controller: Microprocessor based controller with LED Display, PID Digital Temperature Indicator cum Controller, with   dual display of set Value and Process value for precise control of temperature.

Accuracy: ± 0.5˚C. (On Request ±0. 2˚C)

Resolution: 0.1˚C

Sensor: PT100.

Refrigeration System: CFC free refrigeration system with hermetically sealed  Imported  compressor.

Heating Element: The heating element made out of imported nichrome wires of coil form fitted with inner back side of the BOD Incubator.

Fan: Air circulation provided to maintain temperature uniformity.

Door: Main Door with Magnetic gasket with lock and Key. (OPTIONAL SEE THROUGH GLASS DOOR -ON REQUEST)

Trays: Adjustable-Stainless Steel.

Sub Doors: Inner Sub Doors Made of Acrylic

Fluorescent Lighting: Built-in lighting arrangement by low wattage lamp.

Insulation: PUF to minimize temperature loss

Caster: Smooth moving ball bearing type Castor wheels for moving entire equipment /Solid Bush at the bottom of the BOD Incubator

Fuse: Equipped with slow blow fuse for protection.

Alarm: Audio / Visual Alarms for Temperature Deviations

Safety Features: Safety standby thermostat to cut off heater supply in case of overshoot of temperature
